Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team in a full-time daytime role. Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform radiographic procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate diverse Nuclear Medicine cameras with strict safety standards to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

The ideal candidate holds Texas MTR, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification, NMTCB-PET is preferred, and BLS/ACLS credentials updated within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred
• MTR State of Texas
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures and applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice; follows radiation safety protocols
