Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their award-winning team. This role involves providing high-quality imaging services in collaboration with the Radiologist and ensuring efficient image processing. Qualifications

  • 1 year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience as nuclear medicine technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality imaging in support of the Radiologist.
  • Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Skills

Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
Proficient computer skills

Education

Current State Nuclear Medicine License
A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
Current BCLS (AHA)

Tools

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.2. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.3. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred4. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.5. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.7. Current BCLS (AHA) required.8. Proficient computer skills.

San Dimas Community Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $50.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
