Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under radiologist supervision. You will ensure high-quality imaging, QA/QC, and radiation safety while communicating with patients and families.

Responsibilities include collaborating with radiologists, engineers, and nursing staff, maintaining HIPAA-compliant practice, and ensuring accurate transfer of images to BSWH PACS for dictation and review.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Maintains QA/QC of imaging equipment and ensures RAM/ACR compliance.
• Communicates with patients and families, ensuring HIPAA adherence and consent when needed.
• Safely administers radiopharmaceuticals and monitors radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborates with radiologists, engineers, physicists, and nursing staff.
• Transfers patient images to BSWH PACS for clinical review and dictation.
• Maintains patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentation.
