Job summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET) to join the Diagnostic Imaging team at the Texas Medical Center. The role performs high-quality nuclear medicine procedures with emphasis on safety, patient care, and accurate imaging.

The ideal candidate will hold required RT(N), NMTCB CNMT, CMRT per Texas standards, and BLS, with at least one year of experience in nuclear medicine and a commitment to ALARA principles.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • ARRT RT(N) certification required.
  • NMTCB CNMT certification required.
  • CMRT certification by Texas Medical Board required.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine exams across settings (routine, advanced, inpatient, emergent, on-call).
  • Maintain image quality, patient positioning, and proper documentation.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment and QA tasks; report issues promptly.
  • CT examinations as assigned and maintain data in RIS/modality systems.
