Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Houston, TX to perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging while ensuring patient care, image quality and radiation safety.

The role involves in-person interviews, daytime hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with possible 10-hour shifts) and a 3‑to‑5‑day work week in a hospital or imaging center.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Minimum PET/CT clinical rotation completed in an approved program.
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification; MRT-General; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort, image quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment and computer systems.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a leading healthcare team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care, image quality, and adherence to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program
  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine program
  • Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine
Experience
  • Minimum PET/CT clinical rotation completed through an approved Nuclear Medicine program
Certifications & Licensure
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
  • MRT-General Certificate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Skills & Abilities
  • Venipuncture experience
  • Ability to operate computer systems and digital imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of digital image acquisition processes
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Science, or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of PET/CT experience
Additional Certifications
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities
  • Strong patient service skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment
