Job summary

Johns Hopkins Imaging in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech/PET Technologist to perform diagnostic radionuclide imaging, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging of organs and systems.

You will work with PET/CT exams in an outpatient setting, collaborating with radiologists while benefiting from a recently upgraded suite, schedulers and nursing support, and opportunities for mentorship, training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma including successful completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
• ARRT CT certification within 6 months of employment
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certified with current registration.
• CPR certification within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist in the performance of diagnostic examinations using radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclide imaging of organs and organ systems of patients.
• Work with PET/CT imaging exams and collaborate with radiologists while working exclusively with outpatient patients.

Education

High School diploma including successful completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology

Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians
