Job summary

Hmixray in California is seeking a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our patient-centered imaging team. You will perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans, following established protocols while delivering compassionate, accurate care.

ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification, a State Nuclear Medicine License, venipuncture and BLS are required. At least one year of imaging experience is preferred; we offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
• State Nuclear Medicine License
• Venipuncture certification/permit
• BLS certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients with excellent care
• Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures
• Under radiologist direction, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases
• Explain exam procedures to patients and address questions
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or issues
• Answer physician questions regarding patients
• Safeguard patient information and medications on site
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
