Job summary

Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech Lead for a PRN opportunity in Lewisville, Texas. The role involves preparing patients for scans, operating Nuclear Medicine equipment, and ensuring radiation safety throughout procedures.

Qualified candidates will hold a State Registered Radiologic Technician license, a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent, and NMTCB/ARRT (N) eligibility with timely certification. Texas MRT licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
• Must be registered/eligible by NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) or obtain within 6 months of hire or training completion.
• Must have Texas MRT license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images and measure concentration of radioactive isotopes.
• Practice proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co-workers.
• Support and help achieve departmental and hospital goals.
