Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join the team. You will perform general radiographic procedures within Nuclear Medicine, using diverse cameras and radiopharmaceuticals under physician guidance.

The role requires Texas MRT license and NMTCB or ARRT(NM) certification, with NMTCB PET certification preferred. Current BLS is expected; cross-discipline training may apply.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification.
• MRT license for Texas.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB Certification.
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs general radiographic procedures as applicable to Nuclear Medicine/PET.
• Performs tests on in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope of practice.
• Demonstrates competence in radiation safety.
