Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Atlanta seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate must be certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
• Work closely with physicians to ensure accurate acquisition of images.

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

OR

Associate's Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB

1. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
