Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients of all ages under medical supervision. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, follow radiation safety guidelines, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective studies and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include scheduling studies in RIS and EPIC, maintaining records, and ensuring ALARA principles are followed.

Qualifications

• One year PET/CT and diagnostic CT experience preferred.
• Licensure/certification: CNMT, CRT/ARRT CT or ARRT NM.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine safety principles and QC.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging on patients of all ages under medical supervision.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals following safety guidelines and maintains records.
• Schedules studies in RIS & EPIC and prioritizes workflow with physicians.
• Ensures ALARA principles and safe handling of radioactive materials.
• Processes images, transfers data to PACS, and participates in quality control.
