Conway Regional Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform specialized imaging procedures, verify orders, and manage patient transport and documentation. The role requires ARRT NM and/or NMTCB certification and active state licensure in nuclear medicine, with BLS/CPR certification prior to orientation.
Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with Joint Commission and Arkansas Health Department requirements, and using PACS for image handling while ensuring safety
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks. They will utilize detection of radiation in patients to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities while complying with Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures. Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with professional/technical health care personnel. The registered Nuclear Medicine technologist will maintain their professional level of expertise as required by Conway Regional Health System policy. Will be responsible for verifying orders, charging procedures, working knowledge of PACS system, and transport of patients with all necessary paperwork completed.
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas.
