Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, day-shift role. You’ll perform exams, prepare patients and operate imaging equipment per department procedures, delivering safe, age-appropriate care.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, relocation assistance, PTO, and a path for career growth through CareerCare; Monday–Friday, 9:00–6:30, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience required.
• 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required on hire (or per policy).
• BLS certification required or Instructor-level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain optimal image quality.
• Verify orders and patient identity.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
• Review images and communicate results to radiologist.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and reporting of malfunctions.
• Restock supplies and assist team as needed.
• Ensure patient privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
