Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift, full-time role in Georgia. The position involves providing safe, patient-centered imaging services, preparing patients, and operating NM equipment with independent judgment.

Generous compensation and a sign-on bonus are offered, along with relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Candidates should have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-N or CNMT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history.
• Follow procedures for administration of radiopharmaceuticals to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare patient and position for imaging to optimize study quality.
• Maintain equipment and assist other technologists as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and communicate results to radiologists.
