Atrium Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of nuclear medicine images, including cardiac imaging and PET, under indirect supervision. You will ensure patient safety, follow Georgia Department Nuclear Regulatory guidelines, and maintain ALARA radiation protection practices at all times.
Must have a high school diploma or GED, graduate from AMA/JRC/regionally accredited Radiologic Technology
Under indirect supervision performs all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of Nuclear Medicine images including advance procedures such as cardiac imaging and PET. Responsible for the care of the patient while in the Nuclear Medicine Department. Responsible for following Georgia Department Nuclear Regulatory guidelines for radioactive materials. Maintains “ALARA” practices for radiation protection at all times.
