Atrium Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of Nuclear Medicine images, including advanced procedures such as cardiac imaging and PET. Ensure patient safety and ALARA practices while adhering to Georgia regulatory guidelines.
The role requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program, and ARRT or NNTCB certification with timely completion if not already obtained.
Under indirect supervision performs all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of Nuclear Medicine images including advance procedures such as cardiac imaging and PET. Responsible for the care of the patient while in the Nuclear Medicine Department. Responsible for following Georgia Department Nuclear Regulatory guidelines for radioactive materials. Maintains “ALARA” practices for radiation protection at all times.
