Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures using radioactive tracers, record body function studies and organ images for patients from pediatric to geriatric. You will follow physician instructions, prepare and operate imaging equipment, and position patients to obtain the requested studies.

BLS is required; ACLS if applicable. Active ARRT NM or NMTCB CNMT certification (or recent NM training program graduate) and ISDH Nuclear Medicine license are

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• May also require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable.
• Requires active status through ARRT NM or NMTCB CNMT or recent graduate of NM training program.
• Requires current Indiana ISDH license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures involving radioactive drugs to perform body function studies, organ imaging, and analysis of biologic specimens, for pediatric through geriatric patients.
• Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly to record the requested diagnostic images.
• Treats patients with care and respect.
