Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Nuc Med Technologist to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures per physician specifications. Responsibilities include patient transfer, positioning, and assisting with the examination process to ensure quality imaging results.

Candidates should have 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience, NMTCB or ARRT/NM certification, and BLS. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication within a multi-disciplinary team are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of Nuclear Medicine experience is required.
• Certification in NMTCB or ARRT/NM is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Familiar with ALARA and infection prevention policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment and related devices.
• Position, immobilize and perform Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Coordinate examinations to ensure timeliness and quality of patient care.
• Follow provider imaging orders and submit images to Radiologist.
• Maintain image quality and accurate records of radioisotope usage.
