Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team. You will work under a Nuclear Medicine Physician to perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures, apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis, and ensure safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.

The role requires TX licensure (MTR) and ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, with preferred NMTCB PET certification and BLS/ACLS readiness. This position is full-time and on-site at the Heart & Spine campuses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• MTR State of Texas licensure.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests on in-ppatients and out-patients.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Demonstrate radiation safety throughout procedures.
• Contribute to patient care and other duties as assigned.
