Qualifications

• Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
• Graduate of AMA, JRC, or Regional Accredited institutions approved school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
• Nuclear Medicine ARRT or NNTCB (Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification Board) registry. If registry is not completed at hire, must have completed within six months to remain employed

Responsibilities

• Under indirect supervision performs all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of Nuclear Medicine images including advance procedures such as cardiac imaging and PET.
• Responsible for the care of the patient while in the Nuclear Medicine Department.
• Responsible for following Georgia Department Nuclear Regulatory guidelines for radioactive materials.
• Maintains ALARA practices for radiation protection at all times.

Education
