Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET/CT and SPECT procedures under cardiology. You will work with radionuclides for diagnosis across a growing regional system and ensure high-quality imaging with patient safety in mind.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, OR registry eligibility within 12 months, and an Associate degree or equivalent; BLS certification for cardiology is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required, registry eligible within 12 months.
• Associate degree or equivalent; graduate of ARRT/NMTCB program.
• Cardiology requires BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment per specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain infection control and tidy work area; follow safety practices.
• Record patient information accurately in EMR.
• Assess patients and coordinate with imaging or cardiology staff.
• Provide patient prep and consent; place EKG leads; monitor exams.
