Job summary

RadNet, a leading radiology organization, seeks a dedicated Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will perform high-quality imaging procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure exceptional care for patients. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

This position offers a competitive pay range of $43.00–$63.00 per hour, Monday to Friday schedule with one Saturday every three months, and comprehensive benefits including health coverage and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License is mandatory.
  • Venipuncture certification is necessary.
  • BLS certification must be current.
  • Preferred: at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Job description

We are a leading radiology organization committed to delivering quality patient care through advanced technology. We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
  • Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
  • Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and patient health information.
  • Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Schedule

Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm OR 4×10 schedule 6:30 am‑5:00 pm (off Wednesdays) with 1 Saturday every 3rd month.
