Medical City Dallas is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support the patient care team with radiopharmaceutical procedures and PET imaging under physician supervision. Required qualifications include BLS, ACLS within 6 months, state-registered radiologic technician, NMTCB or NMT (AART NM); NMTCB PET certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope
• Demonstrates radiation safety practices

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures
• Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Performs test in-patients and out-patients
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety

What qualifications you will need:
