Job summary

West Anaheim Medical Center is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their dedicated team. The role involves providing quality imaging, supporting the Radiologist in various procedures, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualified candidates should have a Nuclear Medicine License, preferably experience in acute clinical settings, and knowledge of radiographic equipment. This is a per diem position with variable shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality imaging in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Support the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS.

Skills

Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
Proficient computer skills

Education

Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH
BCLS (AHA) certification

Key services include general medical and surgical inpatient care and treatment, emergency services, surgical services, behavioral health, comprehensive heart center, and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The role supports the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Qualifications
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  • Proficient computer skills.
Pay Transparency

West Anaheim Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $57.53 to $57.53. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
