Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience required.
• BLS certification required; obtained during hospital orientation.
• Current enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology or nuclear medicine program may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and information with technologists and nurses.
• Perform clerical tasks: scheduling, reminders, calls, and entering orders.
• Assist with patient care and unit cleanliness as assigned.
• Safely transfer patients using proper body mechanics.
• Support patient/family teaching as appropriate.
• Enter daily charges and validate charge reconciliation.
