Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technology Assistant to provide administrative, clinical support, and patient care assistance in the Nuclear Medicine department. You will coordinate scheduling, assist technologists and nurses, prepare patients, and help maintain supplies, ensuring efficient workflow and safety.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained during orientation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical tasks and maintain patient history worksheets and scheduling in Meditech.
• Coordinate patient flow and information between technologists, nurses, and departments.
• Assist with patient care activities including preparation and transport.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and enter daily charges and reconcile billing.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and ALARA radiation safety standards.
