The hospital is comprised of 545 beds and is a Level I Trauma Center, an Emergency Heart Care Station and a 911 Receiving Hospital. Job Description
This class of positions encompasses responsible work of varying degrees of difficulty and responsibility in the performance of nuclear medicine activities and supportive services. Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the supervision of a physician for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Performs diagnostic and nuclear imaging by utilizing appropriate imaging technology and established protocol. Follows established radiology protocols and standards to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, maximize imaging quality and deliver efficient and effective nuclear medicine services. Complies with all applicable NYC Health + Hospitals, health care setting, federal, state, and local regulations governing the practice of Nuclear Medicine.
Minimum Qualifications
For Appointment to Assignment Level II:
Valid license and current registration to practice as a Radiologic Technologist, specializing in Nuclear Medicine issued by the NYSDOH.
