Job description



FlexStaff is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist for our client in their Radiology department. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiological services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with C-Ray, CT, and/or MRI technology, and will be proficient in operating x-ray equipment, developing images, and preparing radiological areas, equipment, supplies, and contrast materials.


Salary Range:


- Level 1: $66,799


- Level 2: $71,109


- Level 3: $86,727


- Level 4: $132,425


Key Responsibilities:


- Prepare radiological areas, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies as needed for patient procedures.


- Explain procedures to patients, transfer them to tables, position them appropriately, and assist them at the end of the procedures.


- Follow prescribed techniques to administer general and specific x-rays, adjusting equipment settings as required.


- Develop high-quality images in accordance with photographic techniques, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.


- Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences and documenting the patient's condition.


- Utilize mobile x-ray equipment in patient care areas as needed and maintain supplies, equipment, and records.


- Adhere to safety protocols related to radiation for patients, employees, and the environment, ensuring compliance with all regulations.



Qualifications:


- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist.


- Experience with C-Ray, CT, and/or MRI is highly preferred.


- Strong understanding of radiological techniques and safety protocols.


- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and access relevant patient data.
