Radiologic Technologists

FlexStaff is seeking Radiologic Technologists to work for one of our external clients, the largest city health system, in Queens, NY.

Position Details:

  1. Full-time only, 5 days/40 hours per week, no part-time options.
  2. Shifts: 8a-4p, 4p-12a, 12a-8a, with alternating weekends required.

Certification Requirements: CT, MRI, IR all require IV Contrast certifications; all require BCLS.

Salary Range (based on experience, certification, and supervisory experience):

  • Level 1: $66,799
  • Level 2: $71,109
  • Level 3: $86,727 (Supervisory Experience)
  • Level 4: $132,425 (Supervisory Experience)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray equipment, develop images, and prepare radiological areas, equipment, supplies, and contrast materials.
  • Prepare and position patients for x-rays, explain procedures, and assist post-examination.
  • Administer general and specialized x-rays, adjust equipment and techniques, and monitor during procedures.
  • Develop images following photographic standards and document using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Maintain inventory and records of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist and oversee radiographers, providing training and guidance.
  • Coordinate daily activities to ensure workflow efficiency and supervise personnel as needed.
