Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will prepare patients and operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic scans, and administer radiopharmaceuticals or medications as ordered by the physician.

You will deliver quality care to pediatric through adult patients with professional judgment and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required.
• 0-2 years of modality specific experience.
• Must be CNMT (NMTCB) or RT(N) (ARRT) with BS/BA preferred; if registry eligible, certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures; prepare patient and operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals/medications as ordered to obtain diagnostic images or provide therapy as directed.
