Job summary
The Ohio State University is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Tech to coordinate daily workflow in Nuclear Medicine and PET/SPECT imaging. This role ensures accreditation readiness and supports staff orientation and performance assessments under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Manager.
Responsibilities include quality assessment, accurate coding of procedures, and coverage of imaging supervisor/manager tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- ARRT Radiography, Nuclear Technologist certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registered.
- Current Ohio Department of Health Radiology Licensure.
- 2 years of relevant experience required.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily workflow and patient flow in Nuclear Medicine.
- Perform Nuclear Medicine, SPECT and PET procedures.
- Maintain accreditation readiness and quality assessment activities for the imaging site.
- Assist in evaluating technologists’ performance for merit increases and orient new staff.
- Ensure accurate coding of procedures in the department.
