Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist to coordinate daily workflow, patient flow, and staff orientation in the Nuclear Medicine/PET area. You will ensure accreditation readiness and assist in evaluating technologist performance, while maintaining accurate coding for procedures performed in the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT Radiography, Nuclear Technologist certification and/or NMTCB certification.
• Current Ohio Department of Health Radiology Licensure.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and patient flow in the Nuclear Medicine/PET area.
• Provide support to department operations and accreditation preparedness.
• Assess technologists’ performance for merit increases and orient new staff.
• Ensure accurate coding of procedures performed in the department.
• Cover Imaging Supervisor/Manager duties as needed.
• Perform Nuclear Medicine In vivo and In vitro procedures using SPECT and PET, processing images and data for physician interpretation.
