Job summary

The Ohio State University Hospital Radiology Administration seeks a Nuclear Medicine Lead Technologist to oversee daily operations, coordinate workflow, and support accreditation readiness across the ambulatory site.

This role performs advanced NM/PET procedures using SPECT and PET, mentors staff, coordinates patient flow, and ensures accurate coding and quality assessment under the Nuclear Medicine Manager. A $15K bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT Radiography, Nuclear Technologist certification and/or NMTCB registered with current Ohio Radiology licensure.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; 4–6 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform NM/PET in vivo and in vitro procedures using SPECT and PET.
• Coordinate daily workflow, assignments, and patient flow.
• Provide quality assessment and accreditation preparedness for the site.
• Assist in evaluating technologists’ performance for merit increases and orient new staff.
• Ensure accurate coding of department procedures.
