The Ohio State University is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the ambulatory imaging site to coordinate daily workflow and provide leadership under the Nuclear Medicine Manager. The role performs In vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures using SPECT and PET, analyzes data, and delivers images to physicians for interpretation.

The Lead will oversee technologists' performance, ensure coding accuracy, and may assume additional Imaging Supervisor responsibilities as needed.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT Radiography, Nuclear Technologist certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registered and current Ohio licensure.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily workflow, daily assignments and patient flow in the Nuclear Medicine/PET area.
• Provide quality assessment activities for imaging site and accreditation preparedness.
• Assist in assessing technologists’ performance for merit increases and orient new staff.
• Ensure accuracy of coding for procedures performed in the department.
• Cover Imaging Supervisor/Manager responsibilities as needed.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program

ARRT Radiography certification

Nuclear Medicine Certification Board registration

Ohio Department of Health Radiology Licensure
