Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Nuclear Medicine PET/Research Technologist focused on research imaging, including human and specimen PET/CT and CT imaging. Opportunities to cross-train into MRI will be provided during working hours.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and active radiology licensure; 0 years experience required, 0–2 years preferred. Location: Morehouse Medical Plaza - Concourse. Full-time, first shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography, Nuclear Technologist certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registered.
• Ohio Department of Health Radiology Licensure.

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine/PET Imaging Technologist performs nuclear medicine in vivo and in vitro procedures using radiation-detecting instrumentation (including SPECT and PET), accomplishes computer processing and image enhancement, and provides images and data to physicians for diagnostic interpretation.
