Qualifications

• NMTCB registered technologist in good standing.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• Licensed radiologic technologist in the applicable state.
• CPR certification current.
• Imaging specialty certification obtained.

Responsibilities

• Operate Nuclear Medicine scanners to acquire diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with NRC regulations.
• Maintain safety, HIPAA compliance and quality control in the department.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and support workflow and equipment upkeep.

Education

AMA approved school of radiography

NMTCB registered technologist

Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state

Current CPR certification

Certification in imaging specialty
