Job summary

Dignity Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide procedures ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and maintain strict radiation safety with accurate documentation.

The role requires California CNMT or ARRT-NM/NMTCB certification and current CPR, with at least one year in a radiology/nuclear medicine setting.

Qualifications

• One year or more as a Nuclear Med Technologist in a full service Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Department.
• RIS/HIS/PACS computer skills.
• Solid medical terminology knowledge and ability to complete job-related communication & arithmetic calculations.
• Radiation Safety/Safety Program related courses.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine issued by State of California (CNMT) and/or ARRT-NM/NMTCB.
• Current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce high-quality images and data for licensed practitioners.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment.
• Adhere to stringent radiation safety standards and patient care protocols.
• Verify orders, patient identification, and chart details; coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Demonstrate proficiency in department standards and reporting requirements.
• Maintain competency through annual training and compliance with ethics and conduct guidelines.
