Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• One year full‑time work experience or clinical internship in an acute care setting.
• Nuclear Medical Technologist: CA.
• Basic Life Support – CPR.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Maintains NMTCB and CRT licensure.
• Demonstrates ability to assess/interpret age-specific data.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation protection by ALARA standards.
• Demonstrates consistent use of radiation protection devices for both patient and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment.
• Acquire high-quality images and process data for physician interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and document all procedures and materials.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other disciplines involved.
