Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of Optum, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine professional in Texas to support routine imaging and patient care within a multi-specialty clinic network. The role covers performance of nuclear imaging procedures, administration of radioactive materials, quality control, and information management in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requires a nuclear medicine program graduate, MT-General certification/ NMTCB or ARRT (NM) eligibility, and a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• MT-General Certificate with NMTCB/ARRT (NM) eligibility.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Experience with Nuclear Cardiology SPECT imaging.
• Minimum 6 months in a clinical setting; supervised option possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Nuclear Imaging and patient care for exams including Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flows, and SPECT.
• Administer radioactive materials; explain procedures to patients and document care.
• Conduct QC and safety checks on equipment per regulations and ensure clean, safe environment.
• Document and communicate with care team; manage schedules and radiology information systems.
• Support material handling, supply orders, and maintain OSHA-compliant workplace.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement and patient rights during care delivery.
