The Somerset Cardiac Imaging Center, an outpatient department of Baptist Health Corbin, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for full-time 1st shift in Somerset, KY. You will perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures, maintain safety and regulatory standards, and collaborate with cardiology and medical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
Requirements include a Nuclear Medicine education program, ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, KY license, and BLS within 90 days.
Nuclear Med Tech Full-Time, 1st Shift Sommerset, Ky The Somerset Cardiac Imaging Center, an outpatient department of Baptist Health Corbin, is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic services in a patient-centered environment. Team members work closely with cardiologists, providers, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality testing and support the early detection and management of heart disease. Our department fosters a collaborative culture where clinical excellence, compassion, and professional growth are valued as we work together to improve the health of the communities we serve. Provides health care services using radioisotopes to assist in diagnosis or treatment (therapies). Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT related procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
