Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to join our team in Tucker, GA. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures, following established protocols and ALARA guidelines to ensure patient safety and high-quality results.

The role requires completion of a JRCNMT accredited program or NMTCB certification, with CNMT/NMTCB registration; BLS certification is a plus as is a commitment to radiopharmaceutical safety and

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• None experience required.
• CNMT or NMTCB registered is required by law.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
?BLS Certified
?Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
