Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is hiring a Nuclear Medicine professional to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with strict adherence to ALARA protocols and governing guidelines.

Candidates must have an accredited Nuclear Medicine education, CNMT/NMTCB registration and BLS certification; strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals is a plus. On-site role at Eastside Medical Center in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols.
• Conducts quality control procedures in line with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
?BLS Certified
?Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
