Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all protocols, policies and procedures, and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.
  • Perform all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications

Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Minimum Experience Required: None

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.

Additional Qualifications:

  • BLS Certified
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
