Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Macon, GA, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures, following all protocols and QA procedures to ensure patient safety and high-quality results.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (JRCNMT or NMTCB), BCLS upon hire, and CNMT or NMTCB certification upon hire; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) (required).
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire (required).
• CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech CNMT registered Upon Hire (required) or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech NMTCB registered Upon Hire (required).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to ALARA programs.
• Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
