Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, Georgia, is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech for a PRN, days schedule. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures and ensure strict adherence to ALARA and quality control standards.

You’ll join a team focused on exceptional patient care and collaborative practice in a state-of-the-art imaging setting. The role requires completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and CNMT/NMTCB registration, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• CNMT or NMTCB registration required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to ALARA programs.
• Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
?BLS Certified
?Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
