Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures in accordance with protocols and ALARA programs. You will also conduct quality control activities to ensure safety and accuracy.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and current BCLS; CNMT or NMTCB registration is expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to ALARA programs.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
