Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine professional to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures. You will conduct quality control, ensure compliance with protocols, and deliver advanced imaging with cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.

The role requires 1 year of experience and current ARDMS/ARRT or CNMT/NMTCB certification, plus BCLS at hire. This on-site position offers a supportive team and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nuclear Medicine program (JRCNMT or NMTCB) required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT or NMTCB registered; BCLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and procedures.
• Performs quality control procedures per manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
• Provides complex technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

Education

• a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
