Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures, following ALARA protocols and quality controls to ensure patient safety and image quality.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and at least 1 year of experience; professional certification (ARDMS/ARRT, NMTCB, CNMT) and BCLS are required upon hire. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Nuclear Medicine work experience required.
• ACCEPTED educational path: Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• Licenses/certifications required upon hire: ARDMS/ARRT – Nuclear Medicine, CNMT, NMTCB, and BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adheres to ALARA programs.
• Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and provides complex technical care to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

Education

• a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required

Work Experience
