Qualifications

  • BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (N) or NMTCB.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients undergoing Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Handle radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and some therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain ALARA compliance and safe handling of radioactive materials.

Job description

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital offers a role for a Nuclear Med Tech Invision Imaging professional. The position involves providing care for patients requiring Nuclear Medicine procedures, performing duties with radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and some therapeutic purposes, operating equipment, and ensuring safe handling of radioactive materials according to ALARA standards.

All employees of the North Florida Regional Medical Center will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (N), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
