Job summary

ICFAI is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform procedures on neonate through geriatric patients, implement quality improvement activities, and support department operations.

The role requires graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, registration eligibility with AART/NMTCB, and physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with patient handling.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Must be registered or registry-eligible with AART or NMTCB.

  • Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures and related tasks on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
  • Assists with departmental CQI activities and other duties in the Nuclear Medicine Department.

PET Experience Is Preferred But Not Required.

Shift: Tues - Fri 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Call 2-3 times per week

Requirements
  • Registered in Nuclear medicine by the AART or NMTCB or registry eligible.
  • Graduate of approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
